#5. Run After Playing Dead when time is right

Todd Orr, a lucky Montana survivor, came face to face with a grizzly bear. Because black bears and grizzlies are common in Montana, Orr took extra measures by shouting out loud as he walked. Unfortunately, he came across a bear who thought she’d better finish him off once and for all. Orr was unable to defend himself even with a can of bear spray. The only thing left for him to do was huddle on the ground and shield his head and neck with his arms.
After taking the initial hit, Orr ran for his truck, but this mother bear wasn’t about to let her kill get away. She attacked him again, this time more forcefully, and came close to scalping him. After the second attack, Orr managed to flee and drive himself to the hospital. Taking every care, as Orr did, may nevertheless end in a struggle to stay alive.
